Okay, I had a very slow start today.  I kept wanting to fine tune bits of research.  I relegate myself about 1-2 hours in the morning to write.  I've found that if I defer that to later, I will never write that day.  It just never works in my schedule.  I have plenty of time to do mindless research at other times.  I finally managed to tear myself away from that notion and get down to writing. 
Overall total is now 11109 words ... almost 2800 words over the theoretical goal of 1667 words a day.  I am almost at the twenty-five percent mark.
